Babies in Bonnets began with my first daughter. There was something about her in bonnets – The eyes, the cheeks, the way a bonnet frames the innocence of that first year. i loved photographing it.

today i still feel such joy upon seeing a baby in a bonnet. I wonder what it feels like to look out at the world with those big eyes. Babies in Bonnets is an ongoing portrait study. Come and visit sometime.
